Here’s how to create email accounts in Cpanel in your hosting account.
1. Click on Email Accounts
2. Choose the Add Email Account tab
3. Enter the name for your new email and then choose the correct domain for it. If you only have one domain, that’s all that will appear. Don’t choose correctdomain.myprimarydomain.com…… only choose correctdomain.com
Choose ‘Unlimited’ for mailbox quota.
Once your email has been created, you can access it online by going to http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail
The username is the email itself.
Notice the ‘Actions’ on the right hand side in the image below?
Once the email address has been created you, as the administrator, can log in by clicking ‘Access Webmail’
Another thing important in the Actions area is ‘Password and Authentication’.
If you ever need to change the password, this is where you can do it.
The final thing you’ll most likely need to know is how to set up an email client, since almost everybody checks their email from the email client on their phone or their computer. Relatively speaking, most people don’t log in to the web to access their email.
In order to set up your new email account in an email client (like Outlook 2013, Mac Mail, Air Mail, etc…) you’ll need to know some info about your new account. You find it in ‘Connect Devices’.
Then scroll down until you see the ‘Mail Client Manual Settings’.
I would recommend using the Secure SSL/TLS settings, since they are more secure than the non-ssl settings. If you have trouble with the Secure settings, then try the non-ssl settings.
